On the morning of March 11, 2024, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City welcomed and held a working session with the delegation from Tokyo University of Technology, Japan – TUT.

Regarding attendance, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Ngoc Nam – Director of Office of Science Management and International Affairs; Dr. Chau Minh Quang – Vice Dean of Institute of International and Postgraduate Education along with leaders of other faculties.
Representing Tokyo University of Technology were Prof. Dr. Hara Kenji – Chair of the International Committee, Tokyo University of Technology; Prof. Dr. Kurokawa Hiroaki – Lecturer, Tokyo University of Technology; Prof. Dr. Shinkai Takeshi – Lecturer, Tokyo University of Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arakawa Takahiro – Lecturer, Tokyo University of Technology; Dr. Ueno Yuki – Lecturer, Tokyo University of Technology; along with 7 TUT students (participating in the student exchange program at IUH).

During the working session, representatives from Tokyo University of Technology presented the collaboration plan between the two universities, including student exchange programs through studying and internships, jointly organizing international seminars, cultural and scientific exchanges between the two countries,…
At the conclusion of the working session, the Tokyo University of Technology embarked on a sightseeing trip around university, included: Faculty of Information Technology, Traditional Room and International Space. In Faculty of Information Technology, lecturers at the institution gave introductions and provided guidance regarding the practice rooms, labs, and classrooms. In addition, the students also have the opportunity to visit the laboratories that will be used in the practical part and learning experience.

Afterwards, students from Japan visited the Tradition Room to learn about the history of IUH and its numerous achievements over the years. Additionally, they have the chance to explore the huge Library; their final destination is the International Space on the 3rd floor of the Library.

International Space is the ultimate destination, where IUH students and international students can join forces to learn and share cultures.
