On the morning of November 8, 2024, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held a working session with the Global Education Organization Ellacy (EGE) to discuss cooperation in training programs, credit recognition, and scholarship opportunities with universities in the United States and Canada.

Representing IUH, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Huynh Trung Hieu (Vice Principal), Dr. Le Ngoc Son (Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate education), M.A. Bui Dinh Tien – Deputy Head of the Department of Science Management and International Cooperation, along with leaders and representatives from various faculties and institutes. On behalf of EGE, Mrs. Ella QC Nguyen, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and her team were present.

During the session, Ph.D. Le Ngoc Son summarized the 8-year cooperation results between IUH and EGE, particularly in the 2+2 joint training program with Angelo State University (ASU), U.S. Achievements in credit recognition, scholarship support, student participation, and program success were reported. Additionally, both sides discussed and shared goals and directions for expanding cooperation with Rowan University, U.S., and universities in Canada.
At the end of the session, the parties exchanged views and reached agreements on developing a standardized framework for phase 1 of the 1+3 and 2+2 joint programs.
